Safca Delta Tours offers in the season, one day trip to Danube Delta on a daily basis.
From 15th April to 15th October we depart every day between 09:30-10:30, sometimes earlier, depending on the mâine group.
We offer both slowboat and speedboat tours.
By slowboat the most common tour is the 4h tour to the Lake cu Cotete(Lake with Nests) – this is where you have a chance to see a bird colony quite close(cormorants, herons, egrets, spoonbills) – possible at higher water level.
Another nice tour by slowboat is the one day trip to Danube Delta up to the village Mila23. Here you have the posibibility to serve a traditional lunch of fish in a local guesthouse.
By speedboat we offer the same tour to the village Mila23 in only 4-5 hours. The speedboats have the advantage to go faster from point to point and go slowly in the places of interest. Also they are a little bit smaller than the slowboats.
Other tours we offer are the two ones in the description:
1. One day tour to the village Mila23 and Letea forest – stop in the village Mila23 for visiting and also possible to serve a traditional lunch of fish. After that we head out through the Danube Delta to see the village Letea and do a safari in the Letea Forest to see the famous wild horses.
2. One day tour to the village Mila23 and Sulina – the end of the Danube. We have the same stop in the village Mila23 where you have the posibibility of the traditional lunch of fish. After visiting the villlage we set of to Sulina to see the end of the Danube and the Black Sea. Depending on the month and the group we can go with the boat close to the beach or in the city. Sometimes we do both!
