1 Day — Mila 23 loop (birding & village)

Tulcea → Tulcea: Tulcea Branch → Sulina Branch past Partizani, Vulturu, Maliuc, Gorgova → S22 → Sontea → Old Sulina side → Mila 23 (or nearby) → return via Olguța through the lake area Furtuna, Băclănești, Martin, Nebunu, Alb, Mester → Mila 36 → Tulcea.
Lunch options: village guesthouse in Mila 23 (local recipes) or on board.

2 Days — Sunset at Ligheanca & lake mosaic

Day 1: Tulcea → Sulina Branch (Partizani, Vulturu, Maliuc, Gorgova) → S22 → Sontea → Old Sulina arm → Mila 23 for 2–3h (lunch, village walk, Ivan Patzaichin Museum). Sunset at Lake Ligheanca, overnight nearby.
Day 2: Breakfast → Old Sulina arm → Sontea → Olguța → Lake Furtuna (crossing if water level allows) → Sontea → Lake Băclănești (lunch on board) → Cot Căndura → lakes Martin, Nebunu, Alb, Mester → Mila 36 → Tulcea.

3 Days — Sulina (Black Sea) + Letea (wild horses) + Mila 23

Day 1 — Sulina: Tulcea → Sulina Branch via Crișan → Sulina for 2–3h (city + semi-wild beach).
Extra (weather permitting): sunset run to the Danube’s end past Old/New Lighthouse, Sulina bar, and the Turgut Usta shipwreck → dinner.
Day 2 — Letea: Breakfast → Sulina Branch → Old Sulina arm → Madgearu → Letea village for safari (+250–350 lei/group) by car to dunes, old oaks, and—if lucky—wild horses. Lunch on board → route continues towards Mila 23, passing Lebăda Luxury Resort, Crișan (optional Swedish buffet, extra) → sunset at Lake Ligheanca → dinner (or village guesthouse).
Day 3 — Lakes & goodbye: Breakfast → Ivan Patzaichin Museum (Mila 23) → Old Sulina arm → Sontea → Olguța → Furtuna (if water allows) → Sontea → Băclănești (lunch on board) → Cot Căndura → lakes Martin, Nebunu, Alb, Mester → Mila 36 → Tulcea.

4 Days — Caraorman + Sulina + Letea + Mila 23

Day 1 — Caraorman: Tulcea → Crișan–Caraorman channel → Caraorman village → forest safari (+300–400 lei/group) to see dune landscapes, old oaks, and possible wildlife (rabbits, horses). Dinner on board; sunset on the village reach if luck cooperates.
Day 2 — Sulina: Breakfast → Crișan–Caraorman → Sulina Branch → Sulina (city & semi-wild beach). Optional sunset run to the Danube’s end (as above).
Day 3 — Letea → Mila 23: Breakfast → Letea branch/Old Sulina → Madgearu → Letea safari (+250–350 lei/group) → lunch on board → pass Lebăda Resort (optional extra buffet) → Mila 23 for Lake Ligheanca sunset → dinner.

5 Days — St. George outlet, Sacalin, Sulina & Letea

Day 1 — St. George: Tulcea → St. George Branch via Nufăru, Băltenii de Sus, Mahmudia, Murighiol → Sfântu Gheorghe village (+ optional transfer to wild beach) → dinner.
Day 2 — Outlet & Sacalin → Sulina: Optional sunrise (beach/boat). Breakfast → Danube–Black Sea outlet & Sacalin micro-delta area → route via Tătaru / centură canal past lakes Tătaru, Roșu, Roșuleț → Împuțita channel → Sulina (overnight, dinner).
Day 3 — Sulina day: Optional sunrise on beach (extra). City visit, “pirates’ cemetery,” semi-wild beach; optional traditional lunch in a guesthouse. Afternoon Danube-end tour (Old/New Lighthouse, Sulina bar, Turgut Usta if calm) → dinner in town.
Day 4 — Letea → Mila 23: As in the 3-day program (Letea safari + lunch on board) → pass Lebăda (optional buffet) → Mila 23 sunset at Ligheanca → dinner.

Packing & practical tips
